For Diagnostic Medical Ultrasounds one of our team members will call you to schedule your appointment. All Elective Ultrasounds can be scheduled online or by phone.

General Information

Yes, all ultrasounds require an appointment. However, we offer same-day appointments based on availability. Please call our office to check for openings or schedule online using the form to the right.

  • For elective ultrasound services, up to 4 to 6 guests are welcome.
  • For diagnostic medical ultrasounds, 2 guests are allowed.
  • Children are not allowed in the exam room during medical diagnostic ultrasounds unless they are the patient.

Children in the reception area must be supervised by a parent or guardian. For accurate medical ultrasound imaging, a quiet, distraction-free environment is required.

All diagnostic ultrasound reports are reviewed by board-certified radiologists and delivered to referring providers within 48-72 hours. STAT reports are available for urgent cases.
All of our ultrasound technologists are certified, experienced professionals trained in general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound imaging. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring a compassionate patient experience.
Timing depends on your cycle and reason for the scan. Most ovulation tracking ultrasounds are done around day 21 of your cycle, but some evaluations may be needed earlier. Consult your specialist for guidance.

No, fertility ultrasounds are non-invasive and generally painless. A transvaginal ultrasound provides the clearest images of the ovaries and uterus and is typically more comfortable than a routine Pap smear.

If you need to reschedule, please call us as soon as possible. We recommend providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
Yes! Health screenings do not require a physician referral and can be scheduled online or by phone.

Ultrasound Appointment Preparation

  • Abdomen, Aorta, or Gallbladder Ultrasound: Do not eat or drink 6-8 hours before your exam. If you are diabetic, please call our office for special instructions.
  • Abdomen & Pelvic Ultrasound (Same Day): Drink 32oz of water but do not eat before your appointment, and do not empty your bladder.
  • All Exams: Wear a comfortable two-piece outfit. If wearing a dress, bring a pair of shorts.

Stay hydrated! Drinking plenty of water at least 2-3 days before your appointment can significantly improve the clarity of your ultrasound scans.

For 4D and 5D ultrasounds, full-figured mothers should schedule their fetal ultrasound between 28-32 weeks for the best results.

Yes, we offer pregnancy confirmation ultrasounds and can determine gender as early as 14 weeks.

  • If you are full-figured, we recommend waiting until 15 weeks.
  • Fetal position, developmental stage, and body composition can affect visibility. If we cannot confirm gender, you may return for a rescan at no additional charge.
